Golden Bay Lodge ™ is surrounded by 10 acres of beautiful and fascinating gardens. The original ornamental gardens are graced by Rhododendrons and Camellias with vibrant colours and fragrance, once heavily managed with conventional chemical treatments. 

Nature herself needs no chemicals, working with permaculture and organic principles to create healthy living soil, the ornamental gardens are now complimented by a "food-forest" with hundreds of plantings of fruit and nut trees from all over the world, and vegetable growing beds are popping-up in every bare patch of the estate.  The organic gardens are extremely diverse, and productive land has a special beauty all of it's own, perhaps you will get to sample this.
